Adoption hours are Saturdays 2pm-3pm and Mondays 6pm-7pm, as well as by appointment. Please click on the "Adoptable Cats" tab for more information on cats available for adoption.

A Cage-free Environment
HSAR is a cage-free, no-kill shelter. Our cats and kittens roam freely in their rooms.
​
They play with volunteers and with each other. They find their own favorite places for cat naps - in the sun, in a cozy bed, or in a cat tree.
​
This home-like environment makes for a less stressful stay at the shelter until a forever home is found.
